“Armenian Psychiatric Association” is nongovernmental, nonprofit, voluntary, independent organization. The Association was established to unite more than 200 psychiatrists and other mental health professionals who support development of psychiatric services in Armenia in accordance with contemporary medical methods and requirements. The Association is guided by principles of legality, equality, transparency, self-management, consciences and justice: The Association supports implementation and development of new knowledge, technologies, international public health approaches as well as other achievements in mental health and creates links with international mental health scientific society.
